This toilet is awesome. I got fed up with my 2, 15 year old contractor grade Eljer toilets that came with my house. I had to unclog them at least once a week and almost always required a double and sometimes triple flush.
A must for my new toilets were 2 things. They will not clog easily and the flush will clean the bowl.
I decided to replace the upstairs toilet with the Champion first. It was very easy to install. The seat is very comfortable, the flushing power is incredible. The flush cleans the entire toilet bowl leaving nothing behind. The only negative is the initial flush is quite loud.
The 2nd toilet was to be mounted right off the kitchen. Because of the loud flushing of the Champion, I searched for a toilet with all the benefits of the Champion but also very quiet. I came across a toilet from American Standard called the Clean Flush. Its a dual flush toilet. It has 2 buttons centered at the top of the tank. The left will flush only 1.2 gal and the right 1.6 gal....Obviously for #1 and #2. This toilet is a home run. Not only do I get all the benefits I was looking for but I also save money on the dual flush option. Even if you press the 1.2 gal flush for solid waste it takes it all away. The only negative with this toilet is the seat was very uncomfortable. I replaced it with a Champion seat....At last, the perfect toilet.
Both toilets serve there purpose quite well and both cost about the same $230.00. I highly recommend either of these toilets, especially the Clean Flush model. Lets just hope they hold up.

If you want a water saver toilet that works, then the Champ 4 is the one!!.. I have had water savers in the past that did not work w/o a plunger....This unit works far better than the 5 gallon Mansfield I replaced it with, it just gulps it down!!! I'm amazed and will buy another..
The bone color is a sudle almond. Not a yellowish color.

Brook & Hunter 11010DY Review by chic oldie

Shame on Amazon: this is not an original Brook & Hunter spade; it does have a red oak handle and stainless steel blade as advertised, but the accompanying "guarantee" is printed with spelling and gramatical errors, obviously from a "Far Eastern" Country. But the shovel which I purchased more than a year ago, is working fine, easy to clean, etc. so I cannot entirely dismiss the purchase.

I had previously purchased a Diamond Plate vest on eBay, but since this isn't a review of that, I'll just say it had a variety of issues. I was relieved though after purchasing this. The leather is much thicker, the vest actually smells like leather, and it just seems so much better made. It's not as thick of a leather of some of the high-end vests I see (think high dollar ones at the HD shop, etc.), but for the price it's not bad and it is definitely a heavier leather than the Diamond Plate. If you are on a budget and need a vest, drop a little extra over the eBay specials and get this one and you'll be happy. One note though... these do seem to run a little small. I am 6 feet and 245 and I normally wear XL t-shirts and coats. I got the XX-Large Tall (four buttons) thinking I would buy large. While the length is fine, with only a t-shirt and the laces with maximum slack it fits about right instead of having the slack I desired. To wear over a hoodie would be tight and to wear over my leather jacket will take some of those vest extender chains. I considered sending it back for a XXX-Large, but thought it might be too large on those days I wear the vest over a shirt and opted to just keep this one.

I've been using Accumulair filters for about 3 years now since I purchased my house due to the unique size (17x22) of the filter. Most big box stores don't carry this filter size and the reusable fiberglass filter that came with the furnace is woefully terrible at filtering the air (like Swiss cheese compared to the Accumulair filters).

I can't comment definitively on the effectiveness of the odor blocking properties of the filter since I haven't really done any experimentation, but it *SEEMS* to work (well, at least to some degree) given that we have three cats and a Husky (which seems to shed a cat's worth of fur every month) in the house and it seems to be fairly odorless.

Don't expect instant results with regards to odor given that for it to even be effective, it would need to circulate a pretty large amount of air. It may take a day or two to notice anything.

As far as the filtering properties go, it does a decent enough job for a 1" filter given the circumstances (the aforementioned 3 cats and a dog). The house is still requires a good dusting ever 2-3 weeks, but certainly, I think it would be much worse given the amount of dirt, dust, and dander I've seen on the filters when I pull it out to change it.

Overall, a recommended product. In fact, I'm going to buy a few more as soon as I finish typing this :)

I have never had a bad experience with Filters-NOW, they have always delivered the item I requested on time and never with any hidden fees. I'm impressed with the array of filters they have available, especially the carbon vent filters, since those can be hard to find elsewhere.

I bought this carbon filter for my home's air conditioning intake vent, and it works quite well. It was easy peasy changing my old one out for this one, and the fit was as good as the previous filter (which was a 3M).

The carbon filter does a good job filtering out funky odors. For my purposes, it's not a preventative - if your roomie sprays that air freshener you hate, you're still gonna catch a whiff - but it removes the scent fairly quickly (10 minutes later, barely a trace of the offending odor. For my money, that's pretty quick and pretty thorough).

I'm impressed enough with the vendor that I'll definitely buy from them again. I'm pleased enough with the filter that I'd consider purchasing it again, unless I come across something that sounds even better.

Having used five different webcams over the past five years, I can highly recommend Apple's iSight. More than likely, you are considering buying the iSight to use with iChat AV. Before I bought the iSight, I used a Sony DV video camera. Virtually any DV video camera (one that can connect to your computer via Firewire) will work with iChat AV, so if you have one, I would recommend trying that first. So why buy a $130+ iSight that's virtually a one-trick pony? (I don't know anyone who uses their iSight for anything besides iChat AV) Portability and ease of use. I easily move it around and transfer it back and forth between my desktop computer and laptop. The video conferencing image quality is above average for a webcam but is not as good as my DV video camera. The major drawback of the iSight is the lack of control over exposure, contrast or anything--there aren't any manual controls. Every thing is auto on this baby. That's great for the most part until you get in a low-light or backlit situation. The iSight also has a tendency to be contrasty and blow out detail in situations of directional lighting (I sit near a single bright window). The autofocus is usually reliable except when the focus point is on a light-colored or flat object lacking shadows and detail (like a white t-shirt or solid colored wall). In these instances, you can hear the iSight focusing back and forth without locking, similar to what happens when a digital camera can't focus on an object. Overall, I'm very pleased with the iSight. It video conferences well and its size and portability are its biggest advantages. However, I purchased mine used for $80. I consider $130+ rather pricey unless you do a lot of video conferencing.

I got this in the mail, it was well packed and everything seemed fine, however it had no video at all. The system still knew there was something there as it booted all the way into the OS, however it was never recognized and no display ever occurred.
Their tech support is well horrible.
They have no phone contacts, no live chat, nothing but a forum, which tells you to send and email to an address that is in a message further down the list.
Sent the message but never got a response.
I am a tech type person and deal with this for a living, however I had a friend come over to check a few things like correct voltage, amps, etc. (in case it was maybe not enough power or something else.
The 2 power sources did have the correct voltage and amps.
I put the original card back in and all worked fine.

It was not that it was DOA that was the problem, it was the total lack of tech support that they offer.
I am used to EVGA where you have an issue during the first 30 days with their product, they have some people to contact, as well as a full tech support section.

I returned this and went with an EVGA Geforce gtx460 (they don't make radeon) which works great.

The HDO system by Oakley is one of the best on the market. This Antix are polarized and works great into sunny days and cloudy days as well. The protection factor is 3 out of 4 (4 is not recommended for driving); therefore, if you are looking for the best UVA / UVB / UVC protection Oakley polarized is the best option on the market.
Specifically, Antix are a little big for small faces and fits wonderfully on medium to large faces. Great desing and perfect color combinations.

I'm not a stereo afficionado but this is the best I've ever owned. All I wanted was a stereo that would stream all of the music I have on my droid. It does it with great sound quality and I can not only use my own music but also Pandora, Scanner Radio, and really any audio from my phone. It helps when I use navigation too. The only thing I could ask for is larger buttons. The price is way lower than you can get from normal retail and I did have to pay someone for installation. Now I just hope no one steals it!

Pros:
Cheap price good build quality
Great sound quality (relative to the price)
Bluetooth Stereo Audio Streaming quality is perfect and it streams very good with My Rooted Motorola Droid (OG) and HTC Thunderbolt. It also streams stereo audio well with My Macbook Pro.
I like the linking speed and reliablility of the bluetooth as well. No Linking Problems at all.

Cons:
The Audio Controls are obviously sub par given the price, and there is no USB.
There is only one non-noisecancelling bluetooth mic on this, so when road noise goes up so does the noise on the other end of the call.
People frequently ask me when Im on the highway to put my windows up when they already are. My car is a Current-Gen Toyota Solara so its not as quiet as a Mercedes, but its not as loud as a truck either.
The reason I point out the noise cancelling is because my late Motorola Droid and my current HTC Thunderbolt have multiple Noisecancelling Microphones, so when you plug the phone in via the 3.5mm jack and use the Mic on the phone and the aux on the radio the call quality on the other end is much better at highway speeds. Under 45Mph there is not much of a difference.

But Given the Price I was not expecting any of the Cons to be non existant, and I am still pleasantly surprised

For music, this deck sounds great but I bought it for the BT functions which do not work well at all. It pipes the incoming caller through the speakers and that is fine, the major problem is with the BT mic in the deck picking up every little sound inside the car and the road noise while driving. I have to stop the car so people can hear me and that totally defeats the purpose of having this set-up. I did a little test and called my house phone with it while hearing for noises in and around the car. I could very lightly tap on the rear, outside of the car and hear it in my house phone. Pretty ridiculous. I'm only giving the three stars for the music quality.

Excellent formula. Was nervous at first since it states its only a "toddler" formula but when i asked my pediatrician to check nutritional levels he approved. Hi - After checking with our pediatrician, I used this formula with both my kids to supplement from 3 months on. We tried Similac at first and my daughter really wasn't keeping it down. Then, after much research we tried Nature's One and she loved it! Both of our kids are extremely healthy. I was concerned that it was just for toddlers at first but we compared the nutrition contents to other brands and thought Nature's One was still the best choice.

Just to clear up some confusion here is the quote from the manufacture's website:

"Baby's Only Organic� Dairy-based Toddler Formula contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and linoleic acid (LA), the fatty acid precursors for Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Arachidonic acid (ARA)."

Conversion of ALA and LA by the body to the more active longer-chain metabolites is inefficient: 2-5% for DHA. So while adding ALA to your child's diet is helpful it is not a complete substitute for the ARA and DHA found in breast milk (of course no formula can match breast milk).

If you want to use this brand of formula you should consider adding DHA and ARA some other way. This same company makes a supplement called "Baby's Only Essentials� DHA & ARA" and there are others on the market.
